Students create roadmap for 'Wellness Wednesdays' 

This week during Science, students are taking part in their first Wellness Wednesday, a twice-a-month class in which they learn tools and strategies for living a balanced life and making safe and healthy decisions. 

In this first session, students discussed what wellness means (ideas included valuing yourself, self-care, hygiene, and feeling mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically good for extended periods of time) and shared wellness-related topics they want to explore. We will be using their ideas to map out together what will be covered class throughout the school year.
