Natasha grew up in Racine, Wisconsin and moved to Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her first undergraduate degree program, she was active in minority retention programs such as the Hip Hop as Movement Conference, La Collectiva, and the Mujer Latina health conference. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English, she decided to pursue her teaching certificate at UW Madison. Throughout her studies, Natasha has worked in multi-grade level classrooms and alternative schools and continues to enjoy working in diverse settings. Natasha is a passionate advocate in her community and a passionate reader and looks forward to the new challenge of teaching at Madison’s first sustainable public school.
